Clarivate Ignite 2024 – event terms of service

Ticket

• The following methods of payment will be available: debit card and credit card (American Express, China UnionPay (CUP), Discover & Diners Club, eftpos Australia, Japan Credit Bureau (JCB), Mastercard, and Visa).
• Tickets are for the three-day conference.
• To request transfer of a ticket to someone else in your organization, please contact Clarivate at the emails listed above. Clarivate reserves the right to not allow ticket transfers.
• Tickets may not be sold, bartered or auctioned in any way, and doing so may result in Clarivate rendering the ticket null and void without any responsibility to Clarivate.
• Ticket purchasers may cancel their tickets and request a refund by contacting ClarivateIgniteEU@clarivate.com or ClarivateIgniteNA@clarivate.com through April 30, 2024. Any request to cancel made after that date may not be refunded. Refunded tickets that were purchased using a credit card may incur a processing fee, not to exceed 6%.
• After April 30, 2024, all ticket sales are final. There will be no refunds or exchanges regardless of weather conditions, session availability, or any other circumstance.
• Payments for registration tickets are powered by Stripe. Stripe’s policies can be found here.

General Registration Terms

• All information entered into the registration form must be correct and accurate to the best of your knowledge. Some of the information entered (such as name, company, and the photo you upload), will be displayed on your attendee badge.
• Once registered, you will not be able to change the name on your registration profile. Please make sure to register using the name that matches the government-issued photo ID you will be presenting when you check in to the conference.
• You agree to be solely responsible for your own safety, belongings, and well-being while participating in Clarivate Ignite, including off-site events. Clarivate and its affiliates are not liable for your participation in Clarivate Ignite, or for injury or damage of any kind resulting from or related to your participation in Clarivate Ignite.
• Clarivate reserves the right to cancel the event without liability. Airline tickets, hotel reservations and any other accompaniments in anticipation of attending the event are at the attendee’s own risk. In the event that Clarivate cancels the event, Clarivate may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund of registration payment.
• Clarivate at its sole discretion reserves the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the event anyone for any lawful reason, including but not limited to anyone that is behaving in a manner that could be detrimental to the event or any other attendee. Attendees who are refused admission or expelled from the event will not receive a refund of any payment rendered.
• No solicitation or selling of items or services is allowed at Clarivate Ignite unless specifically authorized in writing by Clarivate in advance. Any attendee conducting these activities may be removed from the conference and will not be eligible for a refund.
• Attendees may request the deletion of their registration profile from Clarivate event database after the conclusion of the event by emailing ClarivateIgniteEU@clarivate.com or ClarivateIgniteNA@clarivate.com.

Event Photography & Marketing Release

• Clarivate will be documenting Clarivate Ignite. Photographs, audio and/or video recorded by Clarivate, or others on behalf of Clarivate, at Clarivate Ignite may include your image or likeness. By registering to attend Clarivate Ignite, you agree that Clarivate may use such recorded content for any purpose without compensation to you.

Communications

• Clarivate will be documenting Clarivate Ignite. Photographs, audio and/or video recorded by Clarivate, or others on behalf of Clarivate, at Clarivate Ignite may include your image, likeness, company name, company logo, or presentation session. By registering to attend Clarivate Ignite, you agree that Clarivate may use such recorded content for any purpose without compensation to you.

Clarivate Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

By registering for Clarivate Ignite, you consent to the use of your information for these purposes and acknowledge that your information will be used in accordance with Clarivate Privacy Notice.
