Clarivate Ignite 2025 – Event Terms of Service

Ticket

Tickets at group attendee rates may be available. To enquire about availability, pricing and additional registration requirements, please email: ClarivateIgniteEU@clarivate.com.

To request transfer of a ticket to someone else in your organization, please contact Clarivate at the emails listed above. Clarivate reserves the right to permit ticket transfers.

Tickets may not be transferred to a third party, re-sold, bartered, or auctioned, or and doing so may result in Clarivate rendering the ticket invalid and entry to the event denied.

Ticket purchasers may cancel their tickets and request a refund by contacting ClarivateIgniteEU@clarivate.com up until September 12, 2025. Any request received after this date may not be refunded due to costs incurred by Clarivate relating to the event. Refunded tickets that were purchased using a credit card may incur a processing fee of up to 6%.

Payments for registration tickets are provided by Stripe and in accordance with Stripe’s Services Agreement (available here). Stripe is authorised by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and accepts various forms of payment.

Please note, Clarivate Ignite may be cancelled due to circumstances outside Clarivate’s control (including, but not limited to, venue issues or availability, weather, travel, riots, geopolitical issues etc.). In such event, Clarivate will not be liable for any losses, including but not limited to travel, accommodation costs or any other personal or business losses. We recommend that you purchase refundable travel and accommodation options to mitigate any potential risks. In the event of a cancellation Clarivate may, at its sole discretion, issue a full or partial refund of registration payment depending on the timing, the circumstances and any relevant costs incurred by Clarivate.

General Registration Terms

All information entered into the registration form must be correct and accurate to the best of your knowledge. Some of the information entered (such as name, company, and the photo you upload), will be displayed on your attendee badge.

Once registered, you will not be able to change the name on your registration profile. Please make sure to register using the name that matches the government-issued photo ID you will be presenting when you check in at Clarivate Ignite.

Clarivate at its sole discretion reserves the right to refuse admittance, remove an attendee from Clarivate Ignite for a lawful reason, including but not limited to behavior that is detrimental to the event or any other attendee. If you are refused admission or removed from the event you will not receive a refund of any payment rendered.

No solicitation or selling of items or services is allowed at Clarivate Ignite unless specifically authorized in writing by Clarivate in advance. Any attendee conducting these activities may be removed from the conference and will not be eligible for a refund.

You may request the deletion of your registration profile from Clarivate Ignite database after the conclusion of the event by emailing ClarivateIgniteEU@clarivate.com.

Liability

By purchasing a ticket and attending Clarivate Ignite and any related activity, including but not limited to travelling, dining or accommodation, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation. To the fullest extent permitted by law. You agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Clarivate, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained, or to any property belonging to you while participating in Clarivate Ignite, with the exception of any claims arising from gross negligence or intentional misconduct of Clarivate.

Data Protection

For data protection purposes Clarivate is the controller of (and responsible for) the personal data comprising of your photograph audio and/or video and your contact details, and any related personal data (Personal Data) connected to these Event Terms of Service where Clarivate determine the purpose and the means of the processing.

Clarivate will comply with the requirements of all legislation and regulatory requirements in force from time to time including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) relating to the use of your Personal Data.

Clarivate will be required to share your Personal Data with Ernst & Young Global Limited, trading as EY, to provide you with an invoice for your payment to Clarivate Ignite.

Communications, Event Photography & Marketing Release

Clarivate or others on behalf of Clarivate, will be documenting Clarivate Ignite via photographs, audio and/or video. By purchasing a ticket or attending Clarivate Ignite, you agree that Clarivate may use such recorded content including your image, likeness, company name, company logo or presentation session(s), if any, without compensation, with your consent at all times.

By registering and/or attending Clarivate Ignite, you agree Clarivate shall use your Personal Data for the above purposes to fulfil these Terms of Service and you acknowledge that your information will be used in accordance with Clarivate Privacy Notice available here.

If Clarivate acts in any circumstances as a processor of your Personal Data as defined by the EU GDPR or UK GDPR, it is agreed that Clarivate’s Data Processing Agreement (DPA) applies and is entered into (here).

Governing Law

This contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
